At Church at Cactus we offer a variety of ways to get involved with our church and our community.   Please take a look at just some of what's going on inside our church walls!

Sheet Music
Music Ministry

In the setting of worship, our music ministry incorporates many different kinds of music from traditional to contemporary led by our worship team.

Mission Opportunities

We offer numerous hands-on opportunities for people to get involved with missions. Opportunities include volunteering with Benevilla's West Valley Life Enrichment Program at our facility, mission trips, and supporting missions all over the world through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.

Kid's Ministry

Children's Time is part of our regular church service every Sunday!  Kids hear about Jesus through upbeat messages taught by one of our Pastors designed especially for them!  Following the lesson, children 4 and under are dismissed to their classroom where the lesson of the day is reinforced through song, stories and crafts.

Love Notes

Be sure and stop at the Love Note table in the foyer.  Envelopes have been prepared with the names of individuals who could use some encouragement.  Simply write a note on the materials provided, expressing your thoughts and prayers, and place them in the envelope.

(Helping Others by Providing Essentials)

H.O.P.E. is a ministry dedicated to providing the homeless in our community with food and every day essentials. We periodically bring our donations to the homeless men, women and children in Cortez Park.  The following items are always needed: Tuna/Chicken lunch kits, water bottles, cracker packages (NOTE: all food items have to be prepackaged) and moist towelettes/baby wipes.  If you have any questions or would like to get involved in this ministry, please call Benito Zuniga at (956) 577-4346 or email him at:zunigazman@gmail.com

School Supplies

Please consider donating any of the following items so that we can help provide school supplies to needy children: wide ruled or college ruled spiral notebooks, pencils, erasers, scissors, single color pocket folders (no brads), hand sanitizer, crayons, markers, kleenex, backpacks, etc.

Disaster Relief

CBF (Cooperative Baptist Fellowship) is committed to helping with disaster relief and we can help them in their efforts by simply dropping our loose change into the jar located in the foyer.  Whether it's aiding refugees or storm victims, Church at Cactus is helping through CBF.

Pill Bottle Ministry

The homeless are in need of everyday essentials and toiletries.  At Church at Cactus, we are helping to provide for some of these needs by collecting used prescription bottles.  These containers can be used for portioning out shampoo and lotion. Please help us with this ministry by donating your empty prescription bottles. Remember to remove all prescription labels.
